April 4th, 2013
Meeting Minutes

Call to Order:  7:07pm  

Board Members/Programs  in Attendance
: Aberdeen, BelAir, Edgewood, Cecil County, Havre de Grace, Jarrettsville, Joppatowne, Fallston, North Harford, Hereford, Greg Beaty, Charlie Dawson, Tom Coard and Debbe Jones.   Presentations   President Report: 
  • Discussed invoices for the referee fees
  • Discussed announcement made over radio by Fallston Parent regarding registrations.  It was suggested to Ian to talk with parent.
  VP of Scheduling Report:
  • Charlie went over various options regarding the start of season, playoffs and championship games
1. Starting September 7th with 9 week schedule puts season done on NOV 2nd allows for 3 weeks of playoffs before thanks giving. No extra week. 2. Starting August 24th taking off the next week for Labor Day weekend and, that would give us extra week. 3. Keeping it same starting 24th playing Labor Day weekend we would finish the regular season 19th of October 3 week playoffs would be done the 9th of November 3 weeks before thanksgiving.   Old/New Business:
  • John Schofield has resigned from board as White Division Commissioner.  Since we only have 2 divisions Tom Coard volunteered to be moved from Blue Division to the White.  All Agreed.
  • Jerry informed board that Jarrettsville is hosting a camp however no coaches from his program will be involved.
  Meeting Adjourned @ 8:05pm
